Setting up SMART GPRS and 3G

Welcome to the Smart GPRS or 3G tutorial page. The information below will help you and guide in setting up your phone for GPRS or 3G connection. It will also show you how to hook up your PC or laptop to any Smart 3G-enabled phone:

Download Smart GPRS settings:

Step 1: Using your 3G handset, go to Tools > Settings > Network Mode > select Dual Mode.

Step 2: Activate your handset by texting Set 3G and send to 211.

Step 3: Save Settings sent by 333. Key in 1234 when prompted.

If you have a Nokia 6120, that’s “SET 3G N6230”

To download Smart MMS phone settings:

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s “SET MMS N6230”

Note:
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select “Save All” to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from Smart. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

I got to have a summer class for two months meaning I can’t no longer have some posted blogs here. I’m very sorry, for the past days I have a busy schedule on maintaining a profile in friendster. if you’re curios about that profile. I am welcoming the all-new THE FAME ANTHOLOGY!

Well I have an idea about this one. I came up with this in the week of HOLY! Yes, I got it build in Holy Thursday due to my boredom. I am seeking and inviting all gorgeous ladies and gentlemen. It’s true, I am searching through with friendster profiles that have the gots t be called for the fame.

Okay,  some people are intruige with this kind of searc. Some of them saying, is this a pageant search? Is this another spam? Is this for nothing. But I can it’s a big search on friendster network but not officially endorsed by friendster.

What is this devastating computer worm Conficker C?

Win32/Conficker is a worm that infects other computers across a network by exploiting a vulnerability in the Windows Server service (SVCHOST.EXE). If the vulnerability is successfully exploited, it could allow remote code execution when file sharing is enabled. Depending on the specific variant, it may also spread via removable drives and by exploiting weak passwords. It disables several important system services and security products and downloads arbitrary files.

Steps on how to prevent Conficker C attacking you!

Take the following steps to help prevent infection on your system:

• Enable a firewall on your computer.
• Get the latest computer updates for all your installed software, including Security Bulletin MS08-067.
• Use up-to-date antivirus software.
• Use caution when opening attachments and accepting file transfers.
• Use caution when clicking on links to web pages.
• Protect yourself against social engineering attacks.
• Enable a firewall on your computer

Use a third-party firewall product or turn on the Microsoft Windows Internet Connection Firewall.

Steps in turning on your Windows Firewall in Windows Vista:

1. Click Start, and click Control Panel.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
4. Select On.
5. Click OK.

Steps in turning on your Internet Connection Firewall in Windows XP:

1. Click Start, and click Control Panel.
2. Click Network and Internet Connections. If you do not see Network and Internet Connections, click Switch to Category View.
3. Click Change Windows Firewall Settings.
4. Select On.
5. Click OK.

Downloading music at Multiply? *FireFox Apps

Actually this is not my idea nor my creation of making things easy LOL I got this from a multiply account (see below for the url). To my surprise, it can be used in any flash oriented site like imeem, youtube, playlist, etc.
